If a subject stays compliant with research guidelines it is assumed their diabetic foot ulcer would heal. This study evaluates the correlation between alleged patient compliance and the rate of healing of diabetic foot ulcers using a retrospective chart analysis. There was no correlation seen and the results showed normal distribution. This could be caused by unreported non-adherence.application/pdfenMedical SciencesMedicine and Health Scienceshealth literacypatient complianceself carediabetes mellitustype 2 diabetesresearch subjectsretrospective studiesAnalysis of patient compliance and progression of diabetic foot ulcer healingInternship Practicum Report
