(1910-1998), was a prominent physician in Fort Worth, Texas and one of founders of the Fort Worth Osteopathic Hospital (later the Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas). The hospital grew from a large house on Summit Avenue to a 265 medical center on Montgomery Street with 13 clinics around Tarrant County and became the main teaching hospital for the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.The Roy B. Fisher, D.O. Collection consists of memorabilia, newspaper clippings, and photographs collected by Dr. Fisher during his years at Kirksville College of Osteopathy and Surgery and the early years of his medical practice. The collection was donated to the library by Mrs. Roy B.
