Pharmacists play a critical role in the management of asthma through patient education, medication training, and medication adjustment. The UNTHSC Health Pediatrics Asthma Clinic Protocol team, using a collaborative interdisciplinary model, consisted of a medical assistant, medical student/resident physician/attending physician, and pharmacy student/pharmacy resident/clinic pharmacist. The workflow diagram was modified for COVID-19 with virtual visits for management, allowing for less time constraints and higher volume and provider availability for patients. A hybrid patient-centered asthma clinic can be proposed to merge both models to streamline accessibility to care and facilitate provider-patient partnering.enPharmacist's Role in Interdisciplinary Clinic Model for Patient-Centered Care of Chronic Pediatric Asthmaposter
